CHARLOTTE, NC (AP) – Milos Stojic scored a three-point whistle and turned it into a four-point game to earn Campbell a 75-72 double overtime victory over the Presbyterians in the first round of the Great Southern Conference tournament on Wednesday night.
Jordan Whitfield scored 16 points to overtake five Campbell players in double digits. Cedric Henderson Jr. added 15 points for the Fighting Camels. Jesus scored 14 goals, Stojic scored 11 and Austin McCullough – 10. The king also made 13 rebounds, eight assists and three blocks.
The Presbyterian scored 19 points in the first half, the minimum for the season for the team.
Winston Hill scored 20 points and nine rebounds in the Blues (12-20). Reishon Harrison added 18 points. The Marquis Barnett has 17 points.
