LAPWAY, Idaho – Lapway County School students will not be enrolled on Wednesday due to threatening phone calls.
It is unclear what was said in the phone call, but the district said it was made on Tuesday morning. The students were shut down when police responded to the situation.
The lock has since been lifted, and students were sent home early Tuesday. Families in the district assured that all students and staff are safe.
All extracurricular programs and athletics were also canceled.
