The woman killed in a two-vehicle crash Oct. 15 on state Highway 14 in Skamania County was identified Tuesday as Sharon Kunecki of White Swan.
The accident was reported shortly after 4 p.m. The tractor-trailer was traveling eastbound while a 2012 Ford Escape was traveling westbound on the highway near Milepost 54. The SUV swerved to avoid the accompanying vehicle and drove in front of the tractor-trailer. to the Washington State Patrol accident memo.
Kunecki, 54, was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
The driver of the tractor-trailer, identified as Mario Sanchez, 49, of Yakima, was injured and taken to Skyline Health in White Salmon, according to the memo.
