Amazon continues to fill retail space at Arlington’s HQ2 headquarters

Four new local retailers have signed leases for space in Metropolitan Park, the first phase of the new HQ2 in Pentagon City.

Amazon has pledged to fill its HQ2 retail space at the National Landing campuses it’s developing with local businesses, and so far it has 100%.

Four new local retailers have signed leases for space in Metropolitan Park, the first phase of the new HQ2 in Pentagon City.

  • Good Company Donutswhose original location is in Ballston and a second is coming to Tysons, will occupy 2,000 square feet in Metropolitan Park when it opens next year.
  • Peruvian brotherswhich operates food trucks, restaurants and catering businesses, will open a 2,000-square-foot restaurant in Metropolitan Park next year.
  • Glo30 Facial Spa, with locations in Shaw, Wharf and Bethesda, will open a fourth location in Metropolitan Park. The membership-based spa will be 1,000 square feet.
  • Celebree Schoolpreschool with dozens of locations in Maryland, Virginia, Delaware and Pennsylvania, leased 13,000 square feet for the space.

They join previously announced local businesses leasing space in Metropolitan Park, including the first fitness platform HUSTLE, Conte’s Family Bike Shop, Social Burger in Vienna, VA, Arlington Juice Shop, South Quarter, pet care. District Dogs and coffee roaster RAKO Coffee from Lorton, Virginia.

Amazon Metropolitan Park and PenPlace Phase Two HQ2 will have at least 140,000 square feet of retail space.
