Beaufort County is looking for a second-year, junior or senior student at Beaufort County (the current older person is not eligible) with a strong interest in conserving natural resources to attend a 2022 resource conservation workshop in Raleigh. This year’s seminar will be held June 26 to July 1, 2022 on the campus of the University of North Carolina.
The main goal of the seminar is to study natural resources and their management in today’s global environment. The seminar is not only a valuable tool in preparing students to become environmentally conscious citizens, but also provides the potential for scholarships.
