PULLMAN, Wash. – The big question is which Washington State team will line up Saturday against Arizona State.
The Cougars are coming off a season-high 52-point win over Stanford.
“I thought it was a pretty dominant game,” head coach Jake Dickert said.
The win also ended WSU’s three-game losing streak.
“It’s hard to win,” defensive end Armani Marsh said. “It was nice to get a win like that.”
After the loss to Utah, Dickert said none of the Wizards will walk through that door. Despite the controversial performance, the Cougars are one win away from a bowl berth.
“It’s not a massive shift in change,” Dickert said. “It’s getting better at what you do and doing what you do and having confidence in what you do.”
The Cougars face Arizona on the road next week, followed by the Apple Bowl against Washington. A tough schedule makes this weekend’s game against Arizona State crucial.
“We want more,” Marsh said. “That means we have to train harder and work better to keep winning.”
Kick-off against the Sun Devils is set for 12:30pm on Saturday at Martin Stadium.
