LONDON, June 1, 2022 / PRNewswire / – GSMA appointed Lara Dewar as Chief Marketing Officer (CMO). Ms. Dewar will take effect on June 1 and will report to the Director-General of the GSMA, Mats Granrid. The move came after Ms. Dewar gave strategic reputational and corporate communications to the GSMA as global head of PR and communications.

For more than two years, Ms. Dewar has helped the GSMA focus on major global milestones such as the Covid-19 pandemic, as well as complex and changing industries. Her experience, understanding and deep knowledge of the business provide an exceptional platform from which Ms. Dewar will begin to work and lead GSMA’s global marketing and communications strategy.

Ms. Dewar’s mandate includes identifying and providing strategic marketing decisions for the GSMA, as well as responsibility for marketing the world’s leading event MWC Barcelona and the whole MWC and 360 Series Mobile.
