In Hawaii, a climber fell from a height of 25 feet, rescuers said.

The man was climbing in Hawaii when he fell 25 feet, rescuers said.

On Monday, February 21, at about 15:45 local time, the climber was injured in the village of Mokuleya on Oahu.

Sixteen rescuers rushed to the man’s aid.

“The first unit arrived at the scene at 16:05, set up command and went on a campaign to establish contact with the climber,” – said in a statement the fire service. “The landing area was created on the Kealia Trail.”

The 30-year-old man suffered multiple injuries. Rescuers decided they would need to send him out of the area.

The helicopter crew picked up the climber from the area and took him for medical attention.

Rescuers did not disclose the condition of the man, as well as the injuries he received at that time.
