The best-ever combined sales in May for the Niro Hybrid, PHEV and EV; More than 2,400 new Sportage hybrids have been sold in the first full month of availability
IRWIN, CA., May 31, 2022 / PRNewswire / – Kia America today announced sales in May of 57,941 units, with the Niro family of hybrid, PHEV and EV models posting best sales in May, up more than 28 per cent from a previous record set in 2021. In addition, the first full month of car deliveries of the all-new Sportage HEV was launched in May, selling 2,417 units. Sales of Kia’s electrified models rose 132 percent from a previous May record set in 2021; and 5 percent more than the monthly all-time sales record for the car category set in March 2022.
“Sales of Kia’s electrified cars remain strong and are contributing to the brand’s path to another successful year,” he said. - Kia Carnival MPV 2022 named “Family Car of the Year” in the ranking of the 10 best cars of 2022 for buyers of Spanish cars according to Hispanic Motor Press
- The announcement of the new Kia Soul 2023 should appear later this summer and with updated design elements, new colors and two technological and convenient options packages.
