LEWISTON, ID. — The Lewiston Police Department is looking for a suspect in the attempted kidnapping of a young girl.
The girl was able to escape and is safe with her family. The suspect was last seen walking south of the Civic Center at 1424 Main St., where police were initially dispatched Friday night.
Police describe the suspect as a man about 6 feet tall with a medium build. He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, a gray beanie hat, black joggers and black shoes with white lace-ups.
