Emerald Ridge (17-8) suffered through a sluggish second quarter, and conceded nine in the half, 27-18. The deficit was 10 when coach Arvin Mosley set a timeout of just over a minute in the second half and replaced his entire starting lineup.

The move momentarily challenged the Jaguars, who eventually closed within three, 35-32, on Maya Barnett’s basket from 2:47 a.m. to the end of the third quarter. Kylie Fox responded with a long three-pointer to Richland, who then walked away.

Fox has led among all the top scorers of the tournament so far by the girls with 33 points. She added seven rebounds and two assists. Macy Milum added 18 points for the bombers, and Monique Carter scored 16 to help the Jaguars.
