EVERETT – Juan Mercedes on Tuesday night on Tuesday night at Funko Field led Everett AquaSox to a 5-0 victory over Eugene Emeralds.
Mercedes walked just two in the 98-mile gem.
Alberto Rodriguez went 2-on-3 with two RBIs and Victor Labrador was tripled for Everett’s (20-25) offense.
Casey Schmidt and Patrick Bailey were the only players from Eugene (22-19) to reach base in the game.
AquaSox loses the restored game
Earlier in the evening Everett lost 5-4 at the end of the suspended game with Eugene on April 10.
After going through rehab with AquaSox, Seattle Mariners player Abraham Thor became 2 on 2 with two RBIs.
