Nitro Pepsi: brand launches new nitrogen drink

PepsiCo’s newest drink, Nitro Pepsi, will hit stores nationwide on March 28th. This is the first wheel saturated with nitrogen.

Pepsi is making a “soft” classic wheel that fans have fallen in love with over the past few decades.

The New York beverage brand has announced the launch of its first soda with nitrogen, by the way named Nitro Pepsi. The new drink, which promises a “creamy, smooth” taste and a “fascinating cascade of tiny bubbles”, will appear in stores across the country on March 28, according to a company press release.

It comes in two flavors – Draft Cola and Vanilla Draft Cola – and is available for pre-order at starting Wednesday, February 23rd. Pepsi lovers can enjoy disposable jars or pick up a package of four varieties as soon as they hit store shelves.

So how is Nitro Pepsi so different from the classic Pepsi? The secret lies in the “unique widget” built into the bottom of each bank, the company said.

“This is the first time such widget technology, commonly found in beer and coffee products, has been applied to the wheel category and created a frothy, frothy smooth texture unique to Nitro Pepsi,” the release said.

To achieve an optimal silky smooth taste, Pepsi stated that the new nitro drink is best served in a tall glass without ice. Also throw away the straw. This drink is designed to be drunk by the glass or drunk straight from the jars.

“Although soda has been a choice for many consumers over the last century, some people still cite heavy carbonation as an obstacle to enjoying the ice wheel,” said Todd Kaplan, Pepsi’s vice president of marketing. . “Nitro Pepsi is the first of its kind to create a sleek, creamy, delicious taste for fans around the world.”

“Just as nitrogen has changed the beer and coffee categories, we believe that Nitro Pepsi is a huge leap forward for the wheel category and will rethink the wheel for years to come,” Kaplan said.

Pepsi is just the latest brand of cola to rethink its iconic soft drink.

Last week Coca-Cola unveiled Fr. Starlight Limited Edition a scent that is rumored to be reminiscent of favorite s’mores for a bonfire, CNN reports. Coca-Cola offered its own description of a mysterious fragrance that was inspired by space and “enhances the signature taste of Coca-Cola with unexpected touchesincluding the reddish hue and the feeling of cooling that evokes the feeling of space travel, ”the press release said.
