The National Weather Service in Tallahassee issued a tornado warning in western Bay County, southeastern Walton County and southwestern Washington County by 10 a.m. CDT. At 9:33 a.m. CDT a strong thunderstorm capable of causing a tornado was located 11 miles southeast of Santa Rosa Beach, moving north at 35 miles per hour. The radar showed rotation. Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Roofs, windows and vehicles will be damaged. Probably tree damage. This tornado storm will persist mainly over the rural areas of West Central Bay, Southeast Walton County and Southeast Washington County, including the following locations: Bruce, Inlet Beach, Seminol Hills, Port Washington, Bunker, Bunker, Guncher Seagrove Beach, Seaside and Freeport.
