RA Long loses 47-44 to Prosser in 2A boys state quarterfinals

Kevin Holden’s 3-pointer at the buzzer fell short and the RA Long boys basketball team fell to Prosser 47-44 in the Class 2A state quarterfinals Thursday at the Yakima SunDome.

The Lumberjacks (21-5) will face North Kitsap at 10:30 a.m. Friday in the fourth-place semifinals.

Holden finished with 22 points, nine rebounds and five assists. Lonnie Brown Jr. scored 11 points and Tramaine Jenkins added 10 rebounds.
