Raiders hold a banquet on winter sports – Washington Daily News

The Pungo Christian Academy celebrated a successful basketball season at a winter sports banquet on Monday night. High school, junior and university teams honored their players with individual awards. Alden Taylor was named MVP JV Girls after leading her team in scoring and rebounds. Evan Woolard received an MVP award for the JVB youth team as well as leading his team in scoring and rebounds.

Reagan Stup was recognized as the MVP of the University’s women’s team, leading the Lady Raiders in almost every category. Stup was also included in the NCISAA 1A women’s national basketball team, becoming the first athlete in PCA history to earn a TIC Player of the Year and state awards in 3 different sports. Devin Caddle and Maddox Lee shared the MVP awards for the University boys.

The Lady Raiders volleyball team was also honored Monday night with the state championship flag and state championship rings.
