Rain and high temperatures on Sunday – Matt

What we track

The next weather system will arrive on Sunday, but there will be plenty of opportunities to enjoy the warm weather and stay dry.

The first round of rain will continue late Saturday night into early Sunday morning. By the time most of us start the day, it will be over and there will mostly be light rain or thunderstorms.

The next rain will be late Sunday night and will be a bit heavier. Rain will continue overnight Sunday.

Plan your Sunday

We will wake up to cloud and patches of fog with highs in the low 30s. We have a good chance of seeing a bit of sunshine again this afternoon as temperatures climb into the 40s. After 4 hours it will start raining.

Spokane and Coeur d’Alene forecast

The weather will clear up by Martin Luther King Jr. Day. Monday will also be the last day in the 40s as we begin to slowly cool down for the rest of the week. The day to watch in the forecast is Wednesday. We will see some rain and light snow which may affect morning and evening travel times.
