ESTERZUND, Sweden , June 2, 2022 / PRNewswire / – Skanska has signed a contract with University of Cincinnati for the reconstruction and extension of a historic building in the village Cincinnati, Ohio, USA. The contract is worth it $ 67 millionabout 640 million Swedish kronorwhich will be included in booking bookings in the US for the second quarter of 2022.
In particular, the 6,100-square-foot renovation will include new offices, open engineering research labs, classrooms, biology and chemistry labs, and collaborative spaces. Approximately 13,400 square meters include new state-of-the-art chemical research laboratories with open compartments with facilities for storage of chemicals, material support and facilities for facility maintenance.
The project is one in a series of major capital projects and will allow the university to expand basic science education as the existing building fails to meet the needs of modern research.
Work is scheduled to begin in May 2023 and is expected to reach completion in March 2025.
