SPOKAN, Washington – Spokane Fire Special Operations Team found and found bodies from Spokane River.

The SFD received several calls about an adult floating face down and lifeless in the Spokane River around 9:30 a.m. Sunday.

A water rescue task force has been deployed in several places. Pedestrians on Sandifour Bridge saw the body floating under the bridge, but lost sight of it as it moved downstream.

The body was later found by a kayaker-entertainer and reported to the SFD. The body was on the west bank of the Spokane River, 100 meters from a recent sighting.

The SFD special operations team removed the body in collaboration with Spokane police detectives. The body is currently under forensic examination by Spokane County.
