Spokane police say car burglaries are on the rise

SPOKAN, Washington. – Spokane Police Department says car burglaries are on the rise, especially in the city center.

Security footage taken in the block from the Davenport Hotel shows a man driving past a blue car twice before breaking a window. He will then steal his bag.

The company that released the video also reported many other hacks.

Police say that from January 1 to February 26 this year, car burglary increased by 441 percent compared to last year.

Officers want to remind everyone to close cars and keep valuables out of sight.
