SPRINGDALE, Wash. – People living in Springdale should boil their water before drinking.
The Stevens County Sheriff’s Office says Springdale has issued a notice to people using their water system.
SCSO orders that water be brought to a boil for one minute before use. SCSO says it takes about 30 minutes for the water to cool, so be sure to plan.
SCSO says to boil a portion of water beforehand so you don’t have to use it hot and burn yourself. You can wash, drink and cook with boiled water.
