The driver of a tanker truck who died in a fiery wreck in Frederick County, Maryland over the weekend has been identified.

The driver of the tanker, who is found died in a fiery disaster in Frederick County, Maryland last weekend.
Maryland State Police said Ronald Leroy Hayston Jr., 58, of Smithsburg, was driving a tanker truck carrying 8,650 gallons of gasoline from Manassas, Virginia, to Taytown, Maryland, when the truck went off the right side of the road and struck a tree. and caught fire.
The crash happened shortly before noon on March 4 on northbound US 15, just north of Rosemont Avenue.
When firefighters arrived, Hayston was pronounced dead at the scene.
As a result of the accident, six houses and five cars were damaged by fire. US 15 was also briefly closed in both directions. Maryland State Police said there were no other deaths or injuries in the incident.
The crash is still under investigation.
This was reported by the Maryland Department of Transportation road crews inspected a section of US 15 on Thursdayfive days after the accident.
