The bomb threat was made on a Jet Blue flight to New Jersey

On the eve of Thanksgiving, one of the busiest days of the year, a bomb threat was made on a JetBlue flight from Florida to New Jersey.

The plane took off at 8 am from Orlando and landed shortly after 10:30 am in Newark, according to Flightaware, a flight-tracking website.

The a threat was sent around 10:14 a.m., according to News12, there were 100 passengers on board.

After arriving in Newark, the plane taxied to a “remote area,” a JetBlue spokesman told McClatchy News, adding that “law enforcement met the flight and extricated the aircraft.”

No one was injured, not even one person taken into custody, according to PIX11. The identity has not yet been established.

“The safety of our customers and crew members is JetBlue’s first priority, and we will work to support law enforcement in their investigation,” a JetBlue spokesperson said.
