Police said the driver crashed into another car waiting in the McDonald’s lane in California after accusing the woman of cutting the line.
When the woman got out of the car, c the driver knocked her down with the vehicle and extended it 150 feet through a parking lot in Richmond on Feb. 5, the Richmond Police Department said in a Facebook post. The driver then got out of the car and punched the woman several times in the face, police said.
The woman recorded on her phone as the driver shouted at her and then threw objects at her car, according to a video posted on Instagram.
“You should never have cut!” the driver shouts at the video.
The driver also repeatedly asked the woman to get out of the car, the video shows. Police said the woman had children in the car during “a violent, unprovoked attack. “
The two-minute video ends when the driver enters the woman’s car to get her out of the car. That’s when the driver beats the woman and pulls through the parking lot.
After the woman was hit, the driver fled the scene, police said.
Anyone who recognizes the driver is asked to contact Detective O. Guzman at OGuzman@RichmondPD.net or by phone 510-672-2493.
