KUTENAI COUNTY, ID. – A 49-year-old man died in a crash on State Highway 3, north of Harrison City, Nov. 22. The man was driving a Ford pickup with his 10-year-old son as a passenger. seat
It happened around 3:30 pm on the 103.5 pole. A 35-year-old man was driving a Dodge Ram pickup truck northbound on SH3 when he veered left of center into the southbound lane and collided with a Ford pickup truck.
The 49-year-old driver of the Ford died at the scene. The driver of the Dodge and the 10-year-old passenger of the Ford were taken to the hospital by ground ambulance. All participants in the accident were wearing seat belts.
Traffic on SH3 was stopped for around three hours to allow emergency services to treat the victims and carry out a thorough investigation.
The next of kin received the message.
This accident remains under investigation by the Idaho State Police.
