The family of the late William Arthur Tucker Sr. regrets his death on Sunday, February 13, 2022. He died of natural causes at the age of 90. He was one of 13 children of the parents of Mary Magdalene and George Clifton Brown. William was a proud native of “Little Washington,” but later moved to Philadelphia and Virginia. He was a Christian, a veteran of the Korean War, a husband, a father, a 32nd bricklayer, and a retired federal employee of the Treasury Department.

Mr. Tucker’s memorial service will be held at the grave on Saturday, March 5, 2022, at 10 a.m. at Memorial Gardens, 161 Avon Ave. Mr. Tucker’s deceased, Barbara Payne Tucker, preceded his death in September 2020 during the worst of the Covid pandemic.
