PULLMAN, Wash. — Washington reclaimed the Apple Cup trophy with a 51-33 victory over Washington State.
The Cougars allowed 702 total yards for a loss.
UW quarterback Michael Penix Jr. was 25-43 for 484 yards with three touchdowns.
Washington also went 11 of 13 on third down conversions.
WSU quarterback Cameron Ward was sacked six times despite going 33-52 with 322 yards and two touchdowns.
Washington State falls to 7-5 on the season and 4-5 in Pac-12 play.
The Cougars await a bowl selection, which will be determined on Dec. 4.
