Zelensky said Biden was on fire at a nuclear power plant

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has informed US President Joe Biden of a fire at a nuclear power plant fired on by the Russian military.

The White House said Biden and Zelensky had called on Russia to cease hostilities in the area and allow firefighters and emergency services to gain access to the site.

Biden also received further information on the situation from the Deputy Secretary of Nuclear Security of the US Department of Energy and the Administrator of the US National Nuclear Security Administration.

Zelensky also spoke with Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau about the attack.
