Orange County sheriff’s deputies arrived at a home on Myers Drive to find four dead after an injured woman called a neighbor for help.

Four bodies, including that of a 4-year-old girl, were found in a home east of Orlando, Florida, after an injured woman showed up on a neighbor’s doorstep, according to the Orange County Sheriff’s Office.
Only six people were shot around 4 a.m. on Friday, November 4including a 23-year-old man who turned the gun on himself after shooting five members of a family, Sheriff John Mina said at a press conference.
At that time, the killed were shot in the head at a home on Myers Drive in the Orlando suburb of Union Park, according to a press release.
Shooting suspect Shavell Jordan Jones remained hospitalized Friday with a gunshot wound to the head, officials said.
Survivors include a 20-year-old woman who went to get help and two children — ages 4 and 6 — who hid during the shooting, Mina said.
According to him, the 4-year-old girl is the twin sister of the murdered girl.
The identities of the victims have not been released, but they are all members of the same family and live in the home.
Among the dead are the 49-year-old matriarch of the family; her two daughters (ages 28 and 29) and her 4-year-old granddaughter, officials said.
Mina called the incident “terrible”.
“One of the women who was killed was in a relationship with Jones,” Mina said. “They quarreled at night. At some point, Jones began taking his belongings out of the house, re-entered the house and started shooting.”
The 29-year-old victim was identified as Jones’ girlfriend, Mina said.
“Two more children were found in the house. They hid under the blankets when the shooting started and luckily we found them safe and sound,” he said.
Jones has no criminal history, except for a failure to appear in court on a misdemeanor charge, and detectives found no evidence of any prior domestic violence incidents, Mina said.
The family, which had lived in the area for about a year, also had no record of previous calls to the police about domestic incidents, he said.
