Plan your day

The later you can leave on Friday morning, the better. Snow will greet early risers, but it turns to rain around 8:00. Despite this, expect a slushy and sloppy commute to work and school. It will be a very windy day, but the most dangerous gusts will arrive Friday night into early Saturday morning. Highs on Friday will climb into the 40s and 50s, so any snow you get at home will melt by noon.
