How Clark County College Football Scored November 5th

After playing baseball for two seasons at Washington State, Cooper Barnum changed school and sport.

The sophomore from Skyview is now a quarterback for Montana. He recorded his first collegiate sack in Saturday’s 57-0 win over Cal Poly.

In 2019, Barnum was named the St. Helens Greater League 4A Defensive Player of the Year as a junior. But his main sport was baseball, in which he was ranked the No. 4 prospect in Washington by the Prep Baseball Report.

Barnum pitched 11 games for Washington State over two seasons. He made two starts last spring and had 13 strikeouts in 14 innings with a 3.14 ERA.

Barnum was transferred to Montana on the eve of fall camp. He made his first appearance on September 24 against the Portland State team coached by his father, Bruce Barnum.

Here’s how other Clark County varsity football players fared. Note: A blank entry means the player’s team had a bye week.
