Pets of the Week: November 5, 2022
Posted at 5:03 am Saturday, November 5, 2022
The Beaufort County Animal Shelter is open Monday through Friday from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm on Saturdays. The shelter will be closed if an appointment is not made by 5pm on Friday. Animal control staff are at the shelter until 8 a.m. daily. Shelter staff will not be answering phone calls in the morning because all staff are involved in morning operations. The shelter strongly recommends leaving a voicemail with contact information and getting back to callers as soon as possible. In the event of an emergency, contact the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office to call an animal control officer. The shelter is located at 3931 US Highway 264 East in Washington.
The shelter will be closed to the public for cleaning every first Wednesday of the month. Please visit https://www.petango.com/beaufortcountync to see all pets available for adoption.
