MOSCOW, ID. — The Moscow Police Department is investigating a murder that took place near the University of Idaho.
An email sent to U of I students said they were investigating a homicide on Kings Road near campus.
A shelter-in-place warning was sent out to students to avoid the area. It has since been taken down.
MPD says they do not believe there is an active threat to the community.
They say the suspect is unknown at this time.
