The best place to bake in Washington is a French bakery serving sweet and savory treats, says Yelp.
Petit Pierre Bakery in Seattle was recognized the number one baking place in the stateaccording to a listing posted by Yelp on Monday, Nov. 7.
To find the best baked goods, Yelp looked at US businesses in the food and restaurant category that had a high number of reviews that mentioned “bakery” and “pastry.” Each location was then ranked based on total volume and review ratings.
The bakery, which one reviewer described as “cozy and very European,” serves coffee, breakfast and lunch.
Yelp reviewers highly recommended the almond croissant.
“Their almond croissant is the best I’ve ever had. Layers of peeling crust forever!! Great and rich almond flavor,” wrote one reviewer.
The breakfast menu includes a Ham and Swiss Croissant, Bacon Onion Biscuits, French Tartine or Chocolate Tartine, Almond Croissant, Pearl Sugar Rolls, Scones, Coffee Cake and Cookies.
During lunch, customers can also order sandwiches, quiches and salads.
Petit Pierre Bakery has two places: one in the Magnolia area and the other in Finney Ridge.
