SPOKANE, Wash. — The Washington State Cougars defeated the Eastern Washington Eagles 82-56 at the Spokane Arena on Monday night.
The Cougs shot 48% from the field and 50% from three, led by Jabe Mullins’ 24 points.
The Eagles shot 38% overall and 22% from beyond the arc. Steele Venters led the team in scoring with 20.
WSU is now 2-2 on the season, while the Eagles move to 1-4.
The Cows will face the Detroit Mercy Titans at home on Friday, while the Eagles will also play Stony Brook in Miami on Friday.
