The Zags are coming off a 88-72 win against the #4 ranked Wildcats

SPOKANE, Wash. — The Gonzaga Bulldogs pulled off a stunning 88-72 victory against the No. 4 ranked Kentucky Wildcats at Spokane Arena on Sunday.

The Zags got off to a hot start, outscoring Kentucky 41-25 in the first half.

The Wildcats went on several scoring runs in the second half, but Gonzaga responded.

Rasir Bolton led the team with 24 points, followed by Drew Thiem with 22 and Julian Strother with 20.

Strother had a double-double of 20 and 14 along with Anton Watson’s 10 buckets and 10 boards.

The Zags shot 56% from the field, 37% from three and 90% from the line in the outing.

The team will now travel to Sioux Falls to take on the Baylor Bears at the Sanford Pentagon.
