Washington high school football state playoff first round pairings

The Washington Interscholastic Association released the state high school football rankings Sunday afternoon. Here are the first round pairings for all six classifications.

Teams in Classes 4A, 3A, 2A and 1A were seeded by the committee No. 1 through No. 16. Teams in Classes 2B and 1B were seeded by the committee No. 1 through No. 12 with the top four teams in each group earning first-round byes.

The first-round games will be played on Friday and Saturday, with the quarter-finals and semi-finals taking place over the following two weeks. The state championships for all six classifications are set for Dec. 3.
